I like to tune each of my student's violins right before the recital starts so I can check to see how they're doing before their performance. This is also my chance to find out if they have everything they need before we begin.

My Halloween costume pun - I'm under a rest! Students had a hard time figuring this out but it was a big hit among the other teachers at the music school I used to work at.
